8K board, also known as mirror panel or 8K mirror glass or NO.8, is a sheet material made of 304 stainless steel as the substrate, with a mirror like luster on the surface through rough grinding, fine grinding, and ultra fine grinding and polishing processes In its name, "8" refers to the proportion of metal alloy components (304 stainless steel mainly refers to the content of nickel element), and "K" refers to the mirror reflectivity level after polishing, with a surface smoothness of up to nanometer level and a reflectivity of >= 90%. The 8K board is classified according to the K value, and extends to 6K, 10K, 12K, etc. on the basis of 8K. The higher the value, the higher the surface fineness, but there is still no unified standard. The preferred substrate is BA material, and 2B board can also be used. Materials include 201, 304, 316, 430, etc., with a thickness range of 0.3-120mm

Polishing treatment is the most critical step in the entire processing process, and its quality directly affects the final mirror effect.
- Cutting and packaging: Finally, the stainless steel coil is wound, cut, and packaged for transportation and storage. During the slitting process, it is necessary to ensure that the incision is neat and free of burrs, and appropriate protective measures should be taken for packaging to prevent scratches and stains on the mirror surface.

5. Slitting and packaging: Precise equipment and processes are required during the winding, slitting, and packaging processes to ensure neat and burr free cuts. At the same time, appropriate packaging materials and methods should be selected to prevent mirror scratches and stains.
- 4K mirror: The surface is relatively smooth and has good reflection effect, but there are some small scratches and defects.
- 6K mirror: The surface is smoother, the reflection effect is better, and scratches and defects are difficult to detect with the naked eye.
- 8K mirror: The surface is extremely smooth, the reflection effect is extremely high, and almost no scratches or defects can be seen, which is a common mirror effect.
- Precision 8K mirror: Based on the 8K mirror, more refined polishing treatment is carried out, resulting in higher surface quality and better reflection effect.
These levels are classified based on surface smoothness and reflective performance. The larger the number, the smoother the surface, and the stronger the reflection performance. Different levels are suitable for different application scenarios and requirements.
